to help inspire me get my ass off the sofa on those long winter days (ooh and the summer too)
To go with the wetsuit, surfboard, wax and surfing DVDs I don’t use but like to leave strewn around the house so people see them and say ‘oh you surf. cool’, which then raises me in their estimation. I also have a trumpet and some jazz CDs for similar purposes. The CDs don’t actually work. In fact, they are just biscuits I drew on.
Because I love to live vicariously through the surfer lifestyle, it helps me get through the daily urban decay that is ATL. Also because the ocean is awe-inspiring to my soul and we need to connect more!! My longboard is as close as I can get to crusin’ in the land of asphalt.
Because I just bought a new dvd storage unit but need dvds to fill it, it ties the room together, and also the recession has hit me badly so could do with some new clothes before Christmas to wear at the dinner table on Christmas day.
I would love to win as I’ve only recently began to learn about surfing in Ireland (I know.I know… where have I being?) Whilst I can’t surf YET I am really interested in the surfing culture in cold cold Ireland!
I need this DVD to have pride of place on the mantelpiece!!! The T-shirt looks awesome too…
Because in these pressing recession times, the only way to get me out of the depths of depression is this sparkly quiksilver t-shirt that I can wear while watching Waveriders, so that I too can feel that pre-recession pride that I’m a winner which seems a fond memory now!!
Its cold and i need a new T-shirt. All I have is Emerald surf ware T-shirts which are realy cool and great value on emeraldsurfwear.com. But this Waveriders T-shirt is where my heart realy lies. The DVD would be great too. Many thanks…………….

Because I’m too old and decrepit to do any of this myself and thus have to live vicariously. I do love the free stuff too.
I’d love to be ‘Outsider’ in my class Waverider T-shirt and be the envy of all my friends!
Would like to have the t-shirt so people might think I actually DO this stuff, instead of just reading about it! I could drop the odd “dude” into conversation then too.
